I am often amused by the signs that fervent anti-immigrant "Americans" post or tote. All too often, their hate-mongering signs are misspelled. Here's one. I'll try to find others I've archived.

I find it even more ironic that the Mayor's last name - Stranczek - is unquestionably Slavic in origin, proof that one of his ancestors was an immigrant. In fact, when the good mayor's forefather arrived, you can bet he didn't speak a single word of English, either.

Seems mayor Chester Stranczek and his son & dynastic successor Robert are in a heap o' trouble with the Illinois EPA (IEPA) for knowingly supplying the Village of Crestwood for 20 years with drinking water contaminated with carcinogens.
Not only that, but they lied for years to village residents about the quality of their water and to to the IEPA about the water's sources.

The Stranczeks are proof positive that neither decency nor honesty are required of politicians.
