I Loathe Winter
Today, our temperature managed to soar into the 20s. I've said it before; I confess I am a weather weenie. I would love to live in a place where I would forget what wool is.

Lisa --I hate winter too... but this is off-topic. There has been a 7.0 earthquake in Haiti. Do you know if Lauren Stanley is stateside or in Haiti? If you hear anything, would you please let me know? Worried about her, and wanting to know how we can help.
blessings.
Lauren is safe stateside... please keep the people of Haiti in your prayers.
Lisa, I love your message to winter. I agree wholeheartedly, for I am a weather weenie, too.
Prayers for the people of Haiti.
While we don't have the extended cold temperatures, as I've grown older, the gray skies of Seattle winter, January into whenever, have become more difficult for me. However, I love the transition from summer into fall (And yes, pulling out my wool jacket.), and winter into spring. So during winter, I think about those transitions. Perspective!
KJ, get me a good job in the South, and I'll give you all my wool goodies.
Sorry, y'all, that I was offline for a few days. I was running around teaching workshops in several different venues.
Yes, Margaret, I've now talked with Lauren. She is safe. But, oh God! the people of Haiti certainly are not. It is heartbreaking. :(
