Truth

I've been catching up on my ICHC browsing today. This one caught my fancy.

funny pictures of cats with captions
see more Lolcats and funny pictures

To whom do you suppose the kitteh is (or should be) administering the oath?
  1. Dick Cheney
  2. Judge Sotomayor
  3. Bishop Henry Parsley
  4. Lisa Fox
  5. General Petraeus
  6. David Virtue
  7. Grandmère Mimi
  8. __________ [other -- you fill in the blank]

Unfortunately, I don't have that nifty voting widget that MadPriest is using. So you'll just have to use the comments to cast and explain your vote.

Have fun!

Lisa Fox, hands down! That's what you get for putting my name in with the liars. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Hey, Grandmère! It's not just a list of liars. It's a list of folks whose stories people might want to hear. That's why I put you there. [Remember, I put myself there too.] I'd love to be able to put you under the kitteh oath and ask you a gazillion questions.

Lisa, I know. I had to name you and make up a story to justify my choice, and I was feeling wicked. I see there are good people in the list.

What a relief, Grandmère! I was feeling like one of the sinners thrust into the hands of an angry god ... or of a wild Cajun woman! ;-)

#3.

Given the incredible crud coming out of the national offices on why they moved the transparency comment off the welcome to the church website, you might should add the PB and the entire New York staff to your list of possiblitities.

Fear not, Jim. They are there, without a doubt.

Lisa, I love your image.

I met Bishop Parsley in New Orleans at the reception for our new bishop. He asked that if I read the report from the theology committee to please read the entire report. I'm off to do that now.

PS: I know that I'm a bit tardy in getting around to reading the report.

Wait! The report is 95 pages. I'm not reading it now. I don't have time. Maybe later.
