Bottom Feeders: Badge of Honor
It appears some of the conservatives really do have a sense of humor!Imagine my surprise to discover the bottom feeders have now claimed this appellation as a badge of honor, creating a CafePress page where you can buy their merchandise. You can buy Bottom Feeder t-shirts, coffee mugs, and so on with the bottom-feeder graphic displayed at left.
And the truly motivated can even buy buttons or magnets proclaiming membership in the Vast Conservative Anglican Conspiracy (displayed here at right).Hats off to these folks! Really! It's good to see a bit of humor breaking out on the right. Good on them!

Seriously, When both sides are overcome with passion, frustration, ire and enmity, we all desperately need to laugh. We do it there and you do it here, but when it crosses the lines it is a healthy release for all of us.

Well, MadPriest, it's awfully tempting. But I wouldn't want to risk profanity. Besides, I think they already have thee and me covered with this design.
You may be right, wyclif. But you folks have inspired us to catch up. I'd say that MadPriest and Brother Causticus are giving us all a run for our money. And who can fail to laugh at Brother Ethelmertz?
Ann, is it just me ... or is there something decidedly inappropriate about putting the "Bottom Feeder" badge on a pair of boxer shorts??
Amen, Bill. It would be a blessed day indeed if both "sides" could laugh together at the same thing.
Truly, I admire the chutzpah of the person/people who came up with the site selling the Bottom Feeder and VCAC gear!
It would be a better church if we could all lighten up and laugh together occasionally.
