Hi Lisa,

How on earth did you come across the Diocese of Wenchoster site? What a treasure. I fwd'ed the organ specifications to our own organist. I only hope he read it before his hernia surgery today - the stitches would never hold!

And please stop demurring about your verbal skills, Acolyte to the Order of St. Verbosa. If you were any more "passionate and articulate" I think I would faint!

AND, I wish I could forward you the sermon our Fr. Shemayev preached on the passage from Ephesians you read - you would be begging to read that passage in the future.

Long story (as befits a Verbosian) about the Wenchoster site. A couple years ago, our parish asked me to give an Adult Ed forum on the names/significance of things that we use in our liturgy, since I seem forever to be throwing around terms that even many cradle Episcopalians don't know. My rector titled the program "Whatchamacallit." [Incidentally, response was so great they're asking me to do it again next month!] Well, I thought I knew a lot, but there were gaps so I was Googling all over the universe to find abstruse info. That's when I found several of those Anglo-Catholic sites in the "humor" section.
