I'm Voting Republican

In the time I've had at home this week, I've been watching the Democratic Convention ... of course.

This video cracked me up. Go watch it.

Update (08/28/08): The comment from St. Louis John and others makes me realize I need to give you an "irony alert." No, I'm not going to vote Republican. And I don't want to send any of you into cardiac arrest. But I loved this video. It's ironic.

I'm voting Republican because they are dedicated to protect the freedom to make videos just like this one. ;-)

PS It is a witty video, Lisa - thanks for posting. Gotta love America. And I agree with you about Bill tonight, he was his classic self and he talked about what he wanted to talk about, not what he was told to talk about and he spoke twice as long as they told him too and Richardson got bumped off the platform. You just got to wonder, I think Hillary will be back in four. I just don't think Barry is going to be able to pull it off - he's peaked too early and he's not ready to deal with Russians marching into Georgia - and Bill and Hillary know it.

I'm voting Republican because I want as amny federal agents as possible to read my computer, open my mail, listen to my telephone conversations. After all, why can't I have a "party" line?

Lisa!

Don't EVER scare me like that again!

When I saw the headling "I'm Voting Republican" I immediately grabbed my BCP and Bible combo, and looked out the window.

I expected to see one of the 4 Horses of the Apocalypse!

I'll go watch the video now!

Apologies to those who nearly had heart attacks. (St. Louis John, your comment was THE BEST!)

I've now added an "irony alert" to my post.

BB, I'm pleased and surprised that you're watching my wee blog. But I haven't said or written anything about President Clinton's speech. What are you reading or projecting? And who the heck is calling Barack Obama "Barry"??

Doncha love how BB postures that she and CANA are all color-blind, whereas TEC are the "true racists", because we won't bow and scrape (and abandon OUR Christian ethics) to Peter Akinola...

...but then she feels free to grace us w/ bon mots like

I just don't think Barry is going to be able to pull it off - he's peaked too early and he's not ready to deal with Russians marching into Georgia

What color is the sky in your world, BabyBlue? Did the rain show up there, that DIDN'T rain out Barack's speech tonight?

Un-frickin-believable... Lord have mercy!

[Lisa, seeing your entry bannered over on Mark Harris's bloglist gave ME a heart-attack too! ;-/]

Barry == Barack?

Oh...*blush* I thought she was talking about Barry Goldwater...I was trying to find the words to break it to her gently, if Lisa didn't, that Barry Goldwater is...oh, never mind, I'm getting off the point.

As far as "peaked too early" etc. etc. blah blah blah, I'll just say this...in the world of dart games, there is a saying "The game isn't over until the last dart is thrown." It's true, and I've seen it happen, where someone's game is in the tank, it's all but over...and on the last round they throw a triple and scream past their oponent.

This election won't be over until the last vote is cast. Until then, everything else is predictions with little to no base in fact.

I want some of whatever BabyBlue is smoking...

Remember, you all: BabyBlue loves to claim that she is well-connected to the neocons in D.C. And we all know she goes to church with them in her now-Nigerian parish. So take it with a grain of salt. She will have her reward.

You just know those conservatives have some great weed. They'd HAVE to.
