Having written such serious stuff last night, I need to lighten the load. So this quip, attributed to Charles Schulz (creator of Peanuts), suits me:
Sometimes I lie awake at night, and ask, 'Where have I gone wrong?'

I saw a man on the DC subway the other day, dressed very seriously with a tie and blackberry and receding hairline and frown and all that stuff. He was leaning against the door reading a book, and as I was expecting typical DC Subway fare - dense economics, Richard Dawkins or steamy romance, take your pick - I was thrilled to discover that no, it was the biography "Schultz"!
